1. Why did you join CrossFit BDA?
wanted to be coached in CF to get fit. My continued live/hate journey of fitness bought me here.
2. What do you love most about CrossFit BDA?
The community/box we have. Our box friends make WODs so much better. | have come to enjoy working out. If | don't | tend to be grumpy and miserable, like now @.
3. What would you say to anyone who is interested in joining CrossFit BDA?
You don't have to be fit to start. Everything we do is scalable even walking if you can't run. We all have day one in a new gym, however day two will be better than day one. We all move/lift at our own pace and no one is bothered if it is slower than them or faster, heavier or lighter. We are all like minded folks look to do like minded fitness, supporting each other.
Welcome and and see you tomorrow.
Joined because wife made me - stayed because | love it.
What | love most
The people and how it makes me feel. The 3 cs:
Community
Comrade and
Cardio
Talking to a non crossfitter
1) it has many of the benefits of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost
2) the people are cool as shit.
3) you can be both physically exhausted and mentally elated at the same time - such it the power of physical exertion.
1. Why did you join CrossFit BDA?
- | had tried CrossFit once or twice at home, and when | moved to Bermuda, | looked up the 2 boxes on island, and BDA was definitely more appealing to me! Best decision ever!
2. What do you love most about CrossFit BDA?
- | love the atmosphere, especially recently. Everyone is in great form and it really changes your day for the better! | also think the increase in social media presence and social activities is amazing (ie. the anniversary dinner and the competition).
3. What would you say to anyone who is interested in joining CrossFit BDA?
- Try a few classes (including the Saturday cardio) and you'll not look back!!
Improvement point:
- | think capping the class numbers would be useful, especially for days that we are doing olympic lifts and also if there's a lot of movements on the rig, as it seems a lot of people don't sign in until last minute and can be very busy.
