T minus 5 days until the Lifestyle Challenge

Know your WHY?

Starting a 30 day Lifestyle Challenge is a BIG commitment and it can be a lot of work. It’s important to keep your goals in sight so you never question if this is worth it. 

Todays Lifestyle Challenge prep:
1. List the number one reason you are motivated to start this journey 
2. Why is this reason important to you

… continue asking “WHY” each of your answers is important until you have a minimum of five responses.

An example of this could be:

  • I started the Lifestyle Challenge because I want to lose weight and have more energy
  • I want to lose weight so that I can have more energy to play with my children
  • It’s important for me to be able to be active with my children while they’re young and to be a healthy role model to them

Writing down goals and having them visually present urges us to grow with them every single day, reminding us of the things we wish to manifest into our lives in our own words.

These are a few ideas suggestions to help you keep your goals in sight everyday:

  • Small daily goal
  • One action you can take each day to help your day start off right – i.e. packing your lunch or making you bed
  • Positive self talk, including a daily mantra
  • Positive affirmations
  • Set a workout goal- i.e. strength, skill or conditioning 4 week goal
  • Recent personal records
  • Anything that brings you joy!

The more time we spend truly aware of what we want in our lives, the more aware we become of what we need to do to get there.
