Congrats to our

Thanks for being a daily example of CrossFit Main Lines core values and what it mean to be a ‘Rock Star CrossFitter’.
As Athlete of the month you’re officially on the ballet for 2018 Athlete of the Year and have access to your vary own locker during the month of June!

If we could play a victory song for this announcement, what would you choose??
Sorry Ray…Foo Fighters “Run” – 1st, Foo’s are amazing, 2nd, the song always gets me pumped up, 3rd, to me, the song is about making a choice. You can sit around, complain about what is wrong and be complacent with the status quo, or get off your ass and DO something about it. This mirrors my reasoning for joining CrossFit in the first place. In a matter of a year I lost my Mom unexpectedly and got divorced in the aftermath, and put on 65lbs while I sat around feeling sorry for myself. Joining Main Line Crossfit was me literally getting off my ass and doing something about it. As Dave sings, “Wake up, run for your life with me!”
What’s a day in the life of Will like? Let’s get some details.
I’m a man of routine. My cat, Lucy, wakes me up at 6:30am everyday whether I want her to or not. I grab my coffee, head to the train for a short ride to Center City to the Wannamaker Building, directly across from City Hall, where I work for UnitedHealth Group as an LPC (yep, I’m a licensed Psychotherapist). I work primarily with people who suffer from chronic mental illness and substance abuse. I hop on the 4:40pm train back home, feed the cat, run down the street to CFML for the 5:30pm beating, I mean, class. Head home to make dinner and lick my wounds, rinse and repeat.
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Easy…Bacon, Egg, Avocado on a Bagel. Could literally eat this every day, and kinda almost do already!
Would you rather… be 3-feet shorter, or 3-feet taller?
Who would pick shorter?
What’s your favorite Crossfit Girl workout?
Christine, but I haven’t tried too many yet. Also, let me take this opportunity to request that we NEVER do Karen? 150 wallballs…I guarantee at least 50 wind up smacking me in the face. No thanks.
It’s a zombie apocalypse. What are the three things are you taking from your house?
My cat, my water bottle, and a baseball bat. My cat has claws, a plus when fighting zombies, we both need water to survive, and the baseball bat is necessary for my best Woody Harrelson “Zombieland” impression. Never go down without a fight!

Sarah Luccaro
You are an OG CFML Athlete. When did you join, and tell us what that first class/experience was like.
I joined CFML in October 2013. I remember walking into my first work-out and Daniel had everyone share what his/her favorite holiday was during the warm-up which started a lively conversation among the group. The workout itself is a bit of a blur, but I remember walking into work the next day, feeling that awesome kind of sore that you get after a great workout. I was hooked after that.
What’s a day in the life of Sarah like? Let’s get some details.
With three little kids, my typical day consists of being a chauffeur, short-order cook, arbiter of Lego disputes, DJ of kitchen dance parties, toddler negotiator, and distributor of ice packs (rarely does a day go by that someone doesn’t walk into or jump off of a coffee table). Usually there is at least one competitive game of Old Maid during the day and no less than ten Melissa and Doug puzzles that get done. When we’re not at home, we can usually be found at Crossfit, a playground or Wegmans. Our days usually end with an inch of water on the floor after bath time and Dan and I passed out on the couch by 9:30.
If you could play one song to us to fire us UP for the workout, what would it be? And could you sing it….
My favorite work-out song is Eye of the Tiger. Cliche, I know, but that’s it. When I was in school, my dad would call and play it for me before sporting events or exams. I could sing it, but no one would want to hear it!
What’s your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is summer. It’s great to be outside at night while it’s still light out and I love going to the beach.
Give us a fun-fact about Sarah that no one may guess… something not even the 9:30am class knows!
One fun fact– I was a diver in college and won the conference championship my junior year. Ironically, I am now scared of heights and get nervous just climbing the rope at the box.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?
If I were stranded on an island, I’d want my Kindle loaded with great books, a hammock and sunscreen (no one likes a sunburn).
